I really didnt want to resort posting here, but the technical forum has proven pretty useless, not even a sniff of a dev, no reply to my thread which is a pretty serious issue considering my gameplay is pretty stale right now due to the issue. Sorry again!

Well, the title says it all.

I'm new to the Matrix Online and ive only been playing two days. After playing for a while it soon became apparent that the game was jerking / lagging / becoming choppy whenever i begin to run, or look around, or open doors, or initiate a combat sequence. I also have a constant high ping, which i shouldnt getting, im on a 1 Meg Broadband connection. The pings average is 250MS but its never under 200. Its usually between 200 - 400 which is just not right. I am playing on the Recursion server and my location is in the South of England.

I've tried adjusting the options with the defaults, the 'Highest framerate' selected, low ram usage, everything on low, everything on medium, mixed settings, disabled AA, V-Sync disabled, view distance 0. I've tried everything, it still chops whenever i go anywhere, or look around, or when im running to new missions or entering the mission zone. I can have the graphics to the point where my guys face looks like it was done with MS paint and i still get this horrible choppyness. Its not totally unplayable, but it happens every 2-3 seconds whenever im initiating any of the above statements EG: Running along the street or looking around.

I should be able to play this game with no problems, i can run World Of Warcraft on moderate to high settings which is more demanding than MxO in my opinion. Despite the horrible cartoony characters, most of WOW is exterior where as im lagging / chopping during exterior AND interior scenarios on MxO.

I love the gameplay and want this frustrating choppyness and possibly lag fixed, its a great game but im finding it hard to enjoy due to this dilema. If it requires ports, would you please list them here along with a solution (If one exists) to fixing this terrible choppy gameplay.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: Nforce2 400 Ultra. 5.10 Nforce Platform Drivers.
Graphics card: XFX GeForce 6600GT 256MB. (8XAGP) 81.98 Forceware Drivers.
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2000 1.66GHZ.
Ram: 1GIG Ram.
Hard disk: 75GB, 8GB free.
Windows: 5.1 (Build 2600) XP Home Edition.
Service pack: 2.
Power supply: 400 Watt.
Networking: D-LINK Router Di-804.

Thanks in advance, and sorry again!
