Question about bits - or lack there of

This has happened twice now since I have started coding, I code a heap of abilities and then instead of being able to code the green frags because I don't have them, they red out and I'm cut short.

 

I go to the loading bay, check my code/inventory and yep, I've still got an abundance of bits.

 

So I'm wondering why this has happened? All I can think of is that I don't have the bits I need to code the green frag needed for the ability, but as far as I can tell I have tons of them.

 

It's not through lack of skills in coding either, with buffed clothing I have a level 70 equivalent for coding, at level 44 I can code level 50 abilities no problem.

 

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks,

I agree.  It sounds like you may be one or two bits short for the entire recipe.  I am totally spoiled as I have over a hundred of every bit.  When they changed coding, I went through the market and bought all the 'codes' for items that had 10-15 charges to them.  I then code up a bunch of old purple pants etc and decomp them, harvesting a lot of bits.  take a look at the Market, there are always recipies out there that have multiple charges poppng up.
