1. I'm collecting stacks of code fragments and I dont know what to do with them!
Do I need to work on my Coder skills to use them?
Yes, u will need to load the write code ability, and u will also need these three items which can be bought from an item vendor, a code analyzer tool, a code compiler, and a decompiler. This is only if you have an interest in coding/crafting. If you do not have interest in that, don't waste your time. 7 and 3 bits are really the only bits ever dropped that are worth anything. I have had success selling those in the marketplace actually.
Everything else u can just recycle or give em to a coder. Red Frag's, however, should always be kept for sale, trade, or use for when u do need higher level abilities made.
2. I'd like to tap into data nodes. I can find them with a tool I bought but I need something else to
extract the information. What is it I need and where can I secure it?
Again, u'll need the tap data node ability, a tap data node tool, as well as the locate datanode tool. FYI the main ability tree in this game for tapping datanodes, data miner, is an ongoing, inside joke in the matrix as it is virtually a useless tree.
3. How do I improve my rolls in an interlock? I'm under rolling fairly often against characters I need to beat.
Unfortunately, at your level, all you can really do is obtain some Melee combat tactics or Ranged combat tactics buffed clothing (depending on if you are going hand to hand or using guns primarily) You still won't be able to use Combat Tactics Boosters (CT Boosts) that directly effect ur combat rolls, until you are lvl 15 i believe. Until then, obtain as many perception or focus boosting clothes, and direct tactics boosting clothes, as possible. Also pick either guns or melee combat depending on ur stats.. (focus for guns, perception for melee) and stay on top of it and make certain those skills are leveled up to your level (maxed).
4. And what should I do with all the female clothing I pick up? I play a male character and have no use
for female clothing.
Use it as trade fodder, decomp it and add it too ur crafting "catalog" or just sell em to vendors for cash fu.
5. New weapons. I'm always offered/find the same weapons. Is your weapon access determined by
level?
Yes, weapons follow a steady level progression, i think most high level coders standing around mara c, should be able to code you some nice guns for your level for next to nothing. Give em some of those 3 and 7 bits as well and i'm sure they'll make some stuff for you when you level up as well.

- oh, I'm Lvl6 at the moment.
Finally, i just want to warn you that you are approaching one of the hardest parts of this game, the leveling from 6 to about level 15-20 (depending on how stubborn, and pig-headed u are
) is a well known "difficulty" hump in this game. You will start seeing lupines in missions who utterly pwn u and taunt u to boot. We've all been there at one point so don't get discouraged. Just run the mishes on easy or get someone of a higher level to run with you. Or, dare i say it, consider loading the spy tree, my level 6 was having huge probs with the lupines until i loaded spy, and snuck in pwn'd him first time. Just make sure you get good at escaping if you do cuz at that level spys have zero toughness.
Good luck,
Kutikiri
