Is there any way we could have a better chances of getting the red fragments? I understand that they are supposed to be rare, but this idea is ridiculous. I have been fighting M.O.B.s for two hours and I only got ONE fragment. On a related note, a friend of mine has been playing for THREE hours and found NOTHING.

I didn't see it anywhere. It was a theory I had after my non-coder faction mates had no problems farming, and myself and other people in my faction with the coder loadout couldn't seem to farm. Reread my post, I tested out the theory using the same hunting grounds over a period of 1 hour so it's not a location thing or luck.
Red Frags are used just like the other code bits but for higher level items.
Your best use is that you can trade them in at any Children of the Code
member for Abilities, Consumables or super hip clothes in a variety of
colors.
