In Rp or writing a story, how could someone rp about a different server. Like say something happened on Vector, what is a way that somone could Rp in Syntax. For Exampl: I must find this assassin, he has left Syntax and went to Vector. Someone please help me.
Different servers..

The standard RP term for differentiating between them is "instance." So if someone is on Vector, one would say "They're on the Vector instance."
My own RP theory for why the three instances exist is that there are three copies of the Matrix to save the Architect from designing new portions of the construct as the human population expands. The creators of the films stated that the Matrix only simulates the Mega City, the mountains, and the Merovingian's chateau, so there can only be so much room. Instead of expending resources to develop the code for new areas, they just copy the City that they already designed and fill it with other people.
I don't really consider that explanation to be canon, but that's how I'm going to treat it if it comes up in any of my stories.

Awhile back it had been announced that storyline was considered the same for all of the servers. Now, if you abosutely need to refer to a different server, you would indeed call it the "Syntax," "Recursion," or "Vector" instance.
