I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but I guess this is the right thread:
Since there are multiple variations in the day/night cycle of the city, I'd like to know if there's a certain regularity about them, and if yes, how exactly they occur and if it's really based on an in-game "week" schedule:
DAY: Purple/blue sky / Sati's sly (I've read it was each 7th day, but not sure), raining, raining with lightning and thunder
NIGHT: Clear, black sky with a moon and stars, "overcast" sky with something like clouds moving over the sky as if it was smoke (was also in the first EtM cinematic)
Although HCFrog told me something different in the Update Discussion,  some nights seem to get darker than the others, although it somehow isn't obvious to me.
I know I could find out myself, but I couldn't find the time time to play the game for hours and check this issue and then look if it really occurs exaclty the same way on the next round. If anyone had the time to figure this out, please post it here.

There are ways around spending hours playing. You can make a change in your useropts.cfg file to speed up the day/night cycle. I currently have mine on 16 seconds so I get that nice "End of Beta" feel whenever I log in.

change WR_envdaylength to something small, and watch the cycle for yourself SMILEY

Ah, thanks.

I've posted this before it appeared on Stack's website SMILEY

You know, I don't see a useroprts.cfg file anywhere in my Matrix Online folder.

You need to create one in notepad.

So I just put WR_envdaylength, then a number after that?

What number do I have to put in to get the day/night cycle to be an actual 24 hours cycle?  j/w.

wr_env_daylength = 86400 (60 s x 60 min x 24 h)
