All ranged weapons use Ballistic Accuracy. I'm not really sure what you mean by "take the most benefit".

Which one would give me the most accuracy. Since I already have it high, I wanna play my strengths. For example submachine guns are low on accuracy but high on damage, so I wouldnt want that one.
Rifleman is probably the one for you. The ability gives you high accuracy, the rifles themselves give you accuracy and with a high focus you should find it easy to hit hostiles.
i thought it was Perception for ballistic accuracy
yea but rifles usually suck in IL just mix some gunner trees up and look at your accuacy you can usally get it pretty high if you do that

RIFLES: +Accuracy, -Interlock
SUB-MACHINE GUNS: +Speed, -Accuracy
HAND GUNS: +Damage, -Speed

Oh, wait....I probably mixed one of them up. Oh thee well.

You are correct

You are both w to the r to the o to the n to the g.
Yeah, Ballistic Accuracy is definitly governed by Focus. I just re-specd today.

Perception only helps with ballistic damage resistance.

As you can see it's definately focus that gives ballistic accuracy.
Perception gives bonus to ballistic damage and defense.

accuracy would normally be the sniper upgrade or the SMG specialist upgrade

Which is extremely helpful with any gun tree. Since most NPC's shoot you while you are engaged with another enemy, ballistic defense is good to have. Plus, bonus damage isn't too shabby either.
