Advice on Path

I am wondering if there is place with in depth guides and help on choosing what to go. So far I am liking Hacker alot, the viral transmition(Logic Barrage 1.0) but don't really know where to go. I looked down the varrious abilities but with me being new to the game I am having hard time figuring this all out. I plan on doing p vs p whenever I can later on after I get my character built up but will also be fighting NPCs with whoever will go with me. Any input, suggestions are apreciated here.

Ok I just made it up through Virologist, unsure where to go now between those 3 branches.  Is there something I should know about each of these branches you guys would care to share? The Pathogenist didn't look to apealing... I was thinking the Dot one(Damage over Time) as that is something I have always liked or is that one totally bad.  I just saw a pathogenist destroy someone too was cool light show too .

I am on Vector Hostile right now, Probally going machines.

I think I am able to change as I want right. Just have to pay the price to upgrade the skill once then I can swap it in and out as I feel like it? If so I can just choose a path try it then try different paths.
