The random names in critical missions (incl. contacts) have always disturbed me in a way, because they take away the reality from the happenings -- it's like, this is how it approximately was, or could have been at some indefinite time, with some indefinite individuals.

However, in certain cases, it starts getting unlogical. There was an overheated buddy of The Kid's a few chapters before (where EPN was introduced) that I had to kill -- doesn't his name matter anything?

The key falled onto the roof of one certain car, belonging to one certain (male) bluepill. We saw the car (and imaginarily, also the driver) in the cinematic, and it was even announced in the Sentinel. This happened to a certain time (unlike contact missions). Why does the bluepill have a different name each time you redo the mission? Even Robert Kendall had and still has one, because he was a definite individual.

And now, Anome's pal, with all the backstory ("not a trustworthy one"), lying dead on the floor and having some significance in the mission storyline, is one day called Firewall, the other day Abbs.

Sorry, but it starts getting hilarious (although I can tolerate it).
