Hmm... Either you've got a typo or maybe we've got a clue. "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." is mainly used because it contains every letter of the alphabet and is displayed when choosing a font. However, the sentance you've stated contains no S.
Either Rarebit made a mistake, or it was purposefull.
This is probably all in my head, just thought I'd point it out.
