In certain missions (as far as I remember, contact missions), I encountered computers I couldn't interact with at all -- neither before the goals were complete nor afterwards.

Those computers were both marked on the screen -- with the typical green ring -- and on the hacker map (as far as I can tell).

Also, I repeated the same missions and they were there again, sometimes even in the same room.

Does anyone know more about it?

It's either a glitch, or a remnant of a previous version of the mission that hasn't been removed. I've seen remnants of previous versions before. For example, in one of Beryl's missions you have to get a dress for her. If you speak to the person who gives you the dress after you've retrieved it, the person says "Tell Beryl that I'm sorry, but her dress is going to take at least another two weeks".

That line is from a previous version of the mission. In the previous version you go to get the dress, but the person tells you that it's not ready, and instead you receive the materials for the dress so Beryl can see it. I think that's how it went. I'm remember this from beta. I've already reported this error.

This is one reason why I think it would be nice if we could replay the neighborhood contact missions over and over again. It's kinda difficult to find errors if you can only go through the missions once per character. ^_^;

ive found on some missions there are comps you could hack if you had the skill but otherwise are completely useless.  I'm not sure if they serve any purpose.

I've had Niobe and Ghost remnants in one of my missions before, was a bit of a shock.
