I was looking through the MxO screenshots on an Italian site when I came upon this ...

I assume this is one of the billboards that appeared during the "Race to Find The One" event, but I'd never heard of it until now. Has anyone ever seen it?

No I haven't but it looks nice and I assume thats Persephone. Also how can a level 19 player survive in Downtown?

Ooh, odd one there, havn't seen that in all my years of roaming downtown.

Probably because it was for one event only. I'm guessing it's from the first event, since several Persephone themed billboards appeared then.

I saw the "Let us handle your package" one when I still had ad's (**bleep** stupid ad sysem, I'd rather they rip it out again now so I can have ad's :p).

Never saw any of the Persephone boards though, probably cos I never went downtown for a long long time.

The rhyme is:

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today
Tomorrow will be dying.

So I can't remember where that might fit in with that event (I missed a lot of it because of time zones)

That is wierd I never saw any of those =( The only Persephone billboards I saw are the "Red Dilletante" ones which were like perfume ads ^_^ And another that said something about machines and changing your life or something like that :o

The billboard was from the "Race to Find The One" event. As far as I know, they only appeared in the Downtown area. I never saw them elsewhere. The "Red Dillitente" perfume ads were all over Richland.

The poem tells the reader that their life is finite. Make good use of the time that you have, because the day will come when you and everyone you care about becomes worm food.

If you haven't seen "Dead Poet's Society", I'd highly recommend renting it. It makes an excellent reference to the poem, and is a great film altogether. SMILEY

I liked those, though never understood why they appeared or were taken out.

Yeah I saw them too back in the day but never figured out thier purpose.
