So why can't we use their likeness?

I think just about every sig contest we've had for a LE character has a "Why can't we use him?" in it.

I'm starting this thread hopping we can have a nice discussion about this without having to flame each other.


One of the questions i have is why Ghost and Niobe's likeness belong to Atari/shiny?
