how do you show somebody you are role-playing?

I always roleplay and assume that others are doing so as well (after all who has these abilities in real life and who would choose to come here without an interest in the Matrix universe). It is more challenging on a Hostile server but I believe that the most flexible aspect of roleplay is your own imagination, so when you come accross someone who isn't in character, flex the grey matter and consider... some people are just bitter and want revenge there is no reasoning with them, some people are drugged and crazed by their new found 'powers', some people are harmless and just want company and finally and most importantly some people are just plain j3rks lol. Working through all that and ensuring you don't fool yourself into thinking you are genuinely the 'one' will cover most bases and allow you to enjoy the game more imo.
