IS neo in the rev movie diead?-------------short answer is yes.
If you remmeber neo siad that it felt like her was dieing her never said he was.
Remember, All smith was doing was copying himself. When he take sover the bodies its like getting a second perasonallity that takes over. If the poelpe are really dieing when they ae taken over by the smith virus. Then why was the oracle there at the end NOT dead.
Neo did die, howefver not becasue he got overwwritten by the smith code. He died becasue when neo went into the amtrix he was jacking in directly thorough the machines copmuter not a hacking computer there for he was connnected to the machine mainframe. When smith copyed himself thorugh neo that was the connection that the machiones needed to get smith back into the mainframe and then delete him wihch is wat we see happen to him at the end. Neo only died becaue he had reinsterted the primary code that he carried of the matrix program.
Which meens that he no longer carried it it got put back into the machine computer. Being neo gave it to them(in a matter of speacking) HE no longer had his life.

tend to think of neo as a program why do you ask. If you reacll when he reached the Archatic remember what he said. "Hello Neo I see the trasport process has altered your consciouness. Irrectably you STILL remain HUMAN." Then Neo proceed by saying "Why am I here"

It is at this point we learn about theothers before neo and the systemic anomaly that follow .
Also rememebr in the first movbie Morpheus stated that when the matrix was first built there was a MAN BORN INSIDE. I beleive this statment refers to the "ONE" wihc sorta of preovces the point that NEO in a former life code wise he was originaly a program. NOt a human, remerbe human being are no longer bnorn they are grown.
