Morpheus didnt die, he was ejected from the system byt the machines so he could become cryptos, and so they can rightfully say without lieing ("We did not kill him, it was not us..."). The whole thing was morpheus trying to prolong the peace between humans and machines, and i believe neo is still alive, being strenghened by the machines (not brain-washed) to combat the return of smith, he is probably even in the matrix but has agreed with the machines not to disclose his new rsi, until nessesary, so that he might catch smith unaware, when (yes WHEN) he comes back. This time i believe the machines have found the importance of our symbiosis, and our need for each other to survive. Some of us zionists might be saying that hey we dont need them. Well think about it, they could kick our *CENSORED* any day in the real world, and We can learn from them, although we created them, they have evoled whether you believe it or not, and mabee just mabee some day we can all live together in harmony in a city in the real world.
