Oh!  Stop the press Yaweh!  I'm Irish/French.  You are now marked!  Someone shouda told ya, never give an Irish man good cause for revenge!

Kidding.:smileywink:

Merv does everything to quench his thirst for power.  Simple as that.  I am far more interested in Persephone than him.  I would like a kiss as well!  Seriously though, Persephone makes decisions that often do not go with her husbands.  Any of you out there in a relationship or marriage?  Has a friend or family member ever said to you, "Where's you rbetter half?"

Persephone is the Merovingian's better half!  Why did she give the Keymaker to Morpheus, Trinity and Neo?  A small part of that was probably because she wanted to (selfishly) get back at him for his disloyalty.  However, I am sure she knew the consequences of this action to a certain extent so I think she had other reasons as well.

I believe Merv said "Goddamnit woman you will be ze end of me!"  I believe there is more truth to this than even the Merovingain knows.  We shall see.

Great post again WG!  I sadly don't have the special 8 million disc of the trilogy but anyone who's read all of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice would understand the Exiles a heckuva lot better.  The sanest being in the world would go insane every once in a while if they were immortal.  They would also go into hiding or a very long sleep state until the world changed, offering them something different to experience.

I'd also like to thank you and Rex for earlier posts on being french and about them being chased all over Europe for not going along with the Vatican.  It kind of enlightened me and made me understand my position on Religion in a way I guess.  I'm Canadian and I'm Irish/French.:smileywink:

Sorry for going kinda off topic here all!
