The above is for anyone wanting to know what PvP looks like if you're a Machinist
It is no doubt that organizational imbalances have plagued this game since its release, but recently it has just gotten worse. As the above picture demonstrates, that how I have to PvP roughly 95% of the time. It's either the Zerg, the Merg, or a combination of the two in which they fight with even numbers, like above.
Practically, there is really nothing to end this. It's moreorless the game's fault and not so much the players. The game starts you out as Zion, and doesn't offer any benefits whatsoever to persuade you to join the Machinists or the Mervs. Perhaps in the future once Organizational benefits are introduced, the equation will balance out, but who knows when that will happen. The fact that the playerbase is small also is accountable I suppose, but who knows if a larger playerbase would make it even, it could just further the imbalance.
For all new Redpills, I strongly encourage you to check out any Machinist factions out there. They do not light up the screen like others, but the ones out there are true and solid. The Collective, Chambers of Shaolin, Mega City Dept. of Energy, Rakshas, and HumaTronic to name a few. There are even some Cypherite factions for those who have more radical views than traditional Machinists, however we bear the same Machinist tag, and therefore can work together in PvP.
PS. This isn't a whine thread, but just throwing this out there to see if anyone agrees or perhaps to get people to sway the sides to make it more even. A longshot, but worth the try! Until then, I'll be in Conceal sniping the 20 reds in Mara.
