I am very excited to be apart of this, but I am also reluctant to post ideas or even say anything for it will be interpreted as Sattakan trying to take over and all my ideas will be attacked. However I think it would be a good idea for us to start organizing. The Vector server is already way ahead of us. There are a few things that we can decide. I propose we have a huge in game meeting and discuss this for those who do not read the boards. On Vector this is all they are talking about, killing the "Carebears" on the "Candyland" servers.
Some questions I would ask at the meeting are:
1) Will we start a brand new faction under the name Recursion the way Vector is doing it? Or will we just keep our own factions and just unite under the Zionist flag anyway?
2) If we do have a Recursion faction, we should have a signup list for those who want to be apart of it, and nominate the leader. The leader will be in name only, way too many egos here to work with.
The pros of us all being in the same organization is that we will be able to mobilize quickly and communicate smoothly. My cons for that is there is no way faction chat will work cohesively with all of us in it. It will just turn into these boards and if someone from one clan does not agree with someone from another clan, it will be war in faction chat. I would prefer we just keep our own clans and all just be united under the Zionist tag.
3) The Mervs and the Machinists are not going to run missions to get up there Zion rep. Some clans may need help gaining a zionist tag, especially those who have never been another organization before and have never done it.
I am a Councilman with TC and we are not making this mandatory. We are currently discussing how we will do this as a clan. Some will not where a Zionist tag under any circumstances and I respect that. We all have no problem representing Recursion and putting aside any issues we have with other clans. We have been waiting for an opportunity like this for a long time now.
4) Lastly can we have a point person or group for all this. I would hate for people to not see the ideas or plans because they do not like the messenger. I want to get this started, but I am backing out. Too much heat and nothing will get accomplished. Blindside, Mav, Miggisch, Stolk, I don't care who let's just get this done.
