Wish i would have seen this thread earlier,i could have told you that stuff.
but here's my theory about the General and his troops and id like some feedback.He's the program that was in charge of the sentinels and the destruction of Zion,he was rendered useless by the truce becoming a exile(most likely replaced with a program more concerned with the defense of the machine interests)he now seeks to regain his place in the machine world,he will do this by igniting a new war via subterfuge and sabotage he does this in several manners by encouraging the Cypherites/Masked Men to attack Zion and sow internal mistrust,to release Malphas and Ookami and there followers to wreak havoc on there captor the Merovingian(backfire,but maybe they'll split in the future weakening the meros empire),and to use his soldiers (aka the sentinels a i's he managed to save,hence the devices that look something like a sentinel on there belts) to disguise themselves as agents(sentinels have red eyes and are a lot lot like agents of the real world,so i think there the red-eyed agents) and wreak havoc and mistrust of the machines.if he accomplishes all of this the machines will have such a mess on there hands they will need him again(or maybe he's he's doing all of this so he can take control control the matrix and the machines,but either way i think all the messed up stuff in the matrix is his doing).
Now tell me what YOU think or tell me im crazy,either one will do!!!
