A group of sentinels moved through the tunnel silently,
stealthly. They were sure they had traced a heat signal to
somewhere in this tunnel, like a human that was wandering alone.
But yet, after scanning everything, they couldn't find a thing.
All cold.
The group hovered for a moment before being called back by the
source. They were required somewhere else. And just as the
last one left the tunnel, that's when the eyes appeared in the crack in
the wall.
Two piercing blue eyes looked out from the deep crack and slowly a pale
white face emerged. Return brushed back her blond hair and
smirked. "So easily trickable... just get in deep enough and they
can't penetrate the walls for their heat sensors... too easy..." she
thought to herself.
Just as she was going to set her camp back up, a twinge of emotion came
over her. She had been out here for 2 and a half weeks now, and
she had been meditating alot. And you know what? She was
sick of meditating.
--------------------------------------
"That was a sweet mission! Did you see the look on that exile's
face!" Farcry announced to his crewmates as the left the building in
Sai Kung. The Safe was a brand new hovercraft, just commissioned
by Zion, and it had on a whole crew of new recruits, and one
experienced captain, Callihan.
And Callihan didn't have a happy look on his face. "Farcry, you
tripped when entering the mission area. Handle, you freaked out and
shot at a vase. Clon, sneaking ahead of the group is not a good idea,
as you can tell when you get shot in the foot. Basher and
Breaker, don't hide in the elevator. Do I make myself clear?" he
barked.
"Yes sir," came an unhappy reply from the recruits behind him.
Callihan took out a cigarette from his pocket and smoked it as he
looked over the calm evening landscape. The bluepills were just
getting ready for bed, and the stars were out tonight, one of the
few times he's ever seen them in the Matrix.
Slowly though, he watched as the clouds rolled in. His grimaced
again, muttered to himself, and continued walking to the hardline that
was 3 blocks away. But just as he got a few more steps, he felt
something.
A piece of paper brushed past his leg and then suddenly began to
decompile. Farcry caught up to him and flintched as he saw the
paper turn into green code fragments. "What the..." he whispered.
As they stood there, more things began to decompile. Leaves,
papers, even a pidgeon decompiled. And the green code started to
swirl faster and faster, forming a large data node in front of
them. Farcry began to wimper and yelled over the wind, "Captain,
what the hell is going on!"
Callihan could only stand speechless as he watched the green mass of
code fluxuate and change, changing from a useless blob of code into the
shape of a very busty woman with short hair. At first he started
to smile, but that smile was quickly taken away. Two piercing
purple eyes appeared from the vortex of code, and purple lips twisted
into an evil smirk joined them.
"No... no... she died..." Callihan mumbled, letting the cigarette fall
from his lips as he stepped back. Slowly a thin, pale face
appeared, and blonde hair fell over one of the purple eyes.
Around her body, light began to be removed from the area and the
darkness came with it, forming into a thick ooze of darkness around her
body, slowly forming into a silf switchblade corset dress, pitch
black. Two gloves appeared on her hands, each bloody, like they
had been used in surgery by a demonic doctor. And on her feet,
two tall stiletto boots, each laced up to her knee.
The code swirl slowed down and Lady Return stood before them, with a
prissy smirk and twin pistols in her hands. "What are you staring
at boys? The fact that I just appeared before you, or my bust?"
she cooed.
Callihan snapped out from his trance. He pointed at her and
reached for his pistol in an angry rage. "Kill the traitor!
Kill the exile lover! Kill Lady Return! Kill her!"
Callihan fired six shots at her, but she moved too fast. Like a
virtual blur, Return easily moved out of the way of every shot.
The recruits stumbled with their guns as Return dodged their captain's
bullets. None of them were feeling especially confident.
Callihan pulled the trigger, but all that came from the gun was a sick
clicking noise and a waft of smoke from the end of the barrel.
The blur of black that was Return halted, stopping in a stoic state and
simply staring back at them with her purple eyes. "Good try
honey. Now it's my turn."
She twirled the guns into the proper position in her hand and jumped up
into the air. As she fell, she flipped forwards and time slowed
around her. And as she fired at the ill-prepared Zionists, she
began to sing softly to herself.
"As I glanced once upon the foam
40 feet beneath my feet..."
Three Zionists shot through the chest.. two more left...
"The coldest calm falls through the molten veins
Cooling all the blood to slush, congeals around the brain."
She landed, let the clips slide from her guns, and even dropped the
pistols themselves. 5 zion corpses fell to the floor, and the
code decompiled.
Callihan layed on the floor, bloody, but still alive. Yes... she
wanted him alive. She looked down into his face and smiled.
"How are you honey?"
"You're a **bleep**, Violet," he coughed back. "Why did you come back?"
"Why? Why did I come back? Hrmph... Two things... One, my
name is Lady Return now... not that Zionist bullcrap name of
Violet. And two..."
*BANG*
Callihan's head was half blown off, and blood was all over the
concrete. A single eye started back at Return silently as she
dropped her third revolver and placed it back on the strap under her dress.
"...unfinished business."
Callihan's body decompiled, and she dusted the blood code from her
dress. They'd be back soon enough, probably angrier than a
hornet's nest, but who cared. She wouldn't be close to the place
by the time they got back.
OOC: IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I'M HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
