I remember back before the SOE acquisition, there was a thread on the
server i played...Iterator. A lot of heated discussion on the
name/origin/purpose of the Frenchman lead to a single conclusion in my
perspective...The Matrix story line is interwoven with characters which
are so enriched as far as fable/myth/folklore/history/archetypes that
are basically mosaics of many ideas. Not one is a single 2D image...let
alone the person who is propably the most complicated to
understand...which is the Merovingian. From being a former One, to the
last posts contribution that the name denotes the lineage of the
antichrist...to my own contribution back when we had discussed the
issue at length, that Merovingians are the theorised descendants of
Mary Magdalene and Christ...from a union of sorts.
There is no end...and no beginning. I think this summes up the favourite baddy of the game.
