we all have a responsibility to play fair and play the game as it is meant to be played. alot of people have been having fun with the sploit and the ccr's they have gotten for it have resulted in this warning that we got today in the message. its good that the community is now aware but the downside is they didnt explain how the sploit works or even the fact that it can be done by accident. now people are threatening to ccr for just getting interlocked.
i dont want to see anybody suspended or banned for this nonsence so we need to get it clear what the sploit is, how it is used, and how it is not used.
1. the sploit is used by spamming ( clicking the button a bunch of times..for those that dont know what spam means ) your interlock combat button more than once while using the green grab tactic. the result is your char attempting to interlock more than once in a single attempt causing your evade to break and interlock to happen instantly rather than breaking the evade and having to wait for the reuse timer before trying to interlock.
2. it is possible to break an evade in one try. that is not a sploit. you just have to wait for the reuse timer to interlock.
3. it seems to only happen when using the grab tactic. the other tactics are safe.
4. when fighting more than one person it is possible to have your evade broken and interlocked instantly. this is if one person breakes the evade and another immeaditly interlocks you. this is not a sploit. its just what happens when fighting multiple opponents.
5. it is possible to accidently use the sploit. some people tend to spam buttons when there is a good amount of lag to ensure that the ability they want to use gets applied. same with the interlock button. youll just have to be careful when using your interlock button until this gets fixed.
i have ccr'd people for using this exploit but i use 1 general rule before doing it. basically the same person has to do this more than once in a row during 1 on 1 combat when no others are helping him/her. i dont want to get anybody introuble for an accident but i do want the real sploiters to not do it anymore.
a bunch of meros were recently threatned with ccr during a fight when it was clearly because he was tryin to hack 9 of us and got 9 instant attempts at interlock, lol. ccr's because of angry dead people can result in innocent people getting introuble if we are not careful.
