He condemned us all to a life of misery with his archaic and blinkered belief that all mankind would like to live in a cave and eat grule for the rest of our lives. Being plugged into the Matrix is the evolution of mankind. Zionites falsely believe they are moving forward when they are, in fact, regressing. We lived in caves over 2000 years ago. Morpheus was a selfish bast*** with those code bombs. He put all our lives at risk, and for what? Neo's body. I too wonder why the machines are keeping his body for but not enough to stress the truce.
It doen't matter now. He's dead. No skin off my nose. The Assassin stoped him in his tracks, and for that i am greatful. I wish i shook the hand of The Assassin. The Hand that killed Morpheus. In the end, The Assassin had to be stoped as well. Shame. I can think of a few more that needs deletion.
The Matrix is the best thing for humanity. We can't be trusted with total control over our own lifes. Look what we did to the earth. If it happens again the Machines might not be so forgiving. We cannot let that happen.
Cryptos will lead us into a better life than the stink pit we call "Zion". Even if it is a lie, any thing is better than where we are now.
So the choice is simple: return to the oblivion of the Matrix, or die. Please don't make it hard on your self. It's for the best.
