Wow...thats all I can say. A lvl 50 and lvl 49 from Risen Triad attack a lvl 47, 42, and 36 of my faction. So, they call in more help! I get there to see four hackers, all higher level than me, proceed to stun me and finish me off within 10 seconds. What is the first thing they say? "nice...you can't PvP noob..."

good job guys..

Oh, and Forsaken is the same way. You beat one of them, he calls in 15 for ONE GUY and then tells you you suck and you're a noob.

Glad to know that parents are dumb**bleep**s and buy this game for their 12 yeard children so that they can come and act tough...

A merov faction gets to have the numbers on its side about once in every 20 battles and yet this thread seems only interested in abusing that group. This attitude has been the lame and consistent response of EVERY zion faction I have encountered since day 1, not one has shown themslves willing to face a challenge and employ any degree of skill or strategy other than call in their mates to resolve it (unlike the movies where zion, the protagonist always faced the odds). Lets make sure the blame and the shame rests squarely where it belongs!

Blame cannot be laid at the feet of any particular organisation, merv
machine or zion. Each organisation has its members who are either
childish or having a bad day. Makes me laugh though.

I killed a Merv a couple of times yesterday (his name was Merovingian
backwards. Man I'd hate to think how many braincells were wasted
thinking THAT one up) because his faction are on our KOS list, thanks
to some of their idiot members not playing nice in the constructs.

So he proceeds to call me "**bleep**" (f a g, in case that gets bleeped out)
then comes back and makes me laugh by telling me to "learn some
maturity" when he dies a second time.

Some people just can't be told *sigh*

I was in 01 most of the day farming Taskmaster, and some guys from
Immortallis and another faction (twas bill2 and someone else) were in
there too.

I wasn't too bothered about loot, just wanted the XP so we pooled our resources to kill TM faster and get us all what we wanted.

I left for a brief period to fix an RSI bug (Ariokaar had attacked me
on my way in and I was constantly under the Powerless visual effect and
it was driving me crazy) and on my way back got killed. I respawned
with the HP bug but didn't realise at the time.

So I went back to 01 and some SoG had showed up. One guy sees me,
breaks my evade and kills me, calling me "exploiter" and all this **bleep**,
and how he wants "none of that here".

Fine, whatever. It's hardly going to benefit me having that bug as
Taskmaster was getting owned in seconds anyway. So I leave, come back
again and his buddy decides to interlock and kill me too.

The other Merv guys are yelling at them to stop because we'd been
co-operating all day for the greater good, but these two little boys
decided to look at their CQs instead of the bigger picture.

moans, if I die 1 on 1, I reconstruct slower, usually to say "gf". I
also know of many others, in the Children of Zion and in other
factions, who do the same.

I would ask for you to withdraw that comment, but chances are you will not, so I will just stay adamant in the face of it.

First, Tytanya- your being generous, it's more like thrice in history that a merg (mero zerg) has formed.

Second, not EVERY zion faction is like this, but theres enough
of a majority to certainly create a consistant illusion. The ones who
go against the grain get lost in the shuffle of the masses.

I have never been in a battle with a faction of Zion where backup was not called in to double the number when I was already out numbered in the first place. In better words I have never had a chance to go one on one with someone from Zion like I do with other Merovs and Machines.

I was in the bookstore, hoping to catch some of the Merovs that like to camp our bookstore, not the archive.

In the event in the archive (which was previous to the bookstore
incident) I had no personal beef with the faction, and their "peers"
weren't causing trouble either. Yet they still killed me and even
reported members of Immortallis that were with me to a senior member of
said faction for 'betraying' their organisation.

Following that event various people in CoZ (I'm sure it's not limited
to just us) have been subject to some pathetic and crude verbal attacks
from them, hence they're now KOS.

Err .. in summary:

I got nailed in the construct for doing nothing other than having a red
name when other Merovingian players can see that working together gets
loot/XP faster and so is beneficial to all, then get insulted numerous
times by other players, thus faction == KOS.

I was in the bookstore and killed that guy (who threw verbal abuse at
me) because his faction were on KOS list due to the aforementioned
events.

If they had've shown a little common decency in the first place, then none of it would have happened SMILEY

ahhh yes the infamous construct bookstore camping, that one I will never understand. You like to attack on sight inside a construct.... alright....sure why not. But really what is the point of camping a construct bookstore or the HardLine near the Bookstore? Believe me Lost I know that all too well, I have not seen a day yet since the merger that our bookstore and HL were not being camped by different machine and zion factions alike. Biggest offenders of this have to be Guardians of the 7th gate, Jokerz, and a couple of factions that are ____ of Zion, although I don't think I have ever seen and member of CoZ there. Honestly how can anyone be "that" bored? Im kind of stealing the thread here...sorry....mabey I should start a new post on this. As for the Forsaken, I believe the reason they started that "kill everyone they see and use big groups" is because that is all the zionist ever did. How can you guys really blame them?

For us it's more of a retaliation tactic. Every few minutes in /fc I
hear "Mervs at Moriah E" or "So and so just got me in the bookstore"

The time Ariokaar attacked me I got teleported halfway through and
ended up with visual/audio effects on constantly. Think sound loop but
constant and 10x worse. That annoyed me enough to do it.

The undoubted problem is the gross imbalance in organisational members, and various faction policies.

For the most part, CoZ never ganked (and still try not to unless seeing
KOS people) but there were numerous Zionist factions that did.

So we get lumped in with "Zionists are noobs" and when Forsaken formed,
they killed everyone regardless of level or faction. So some of us got
into a serious "*CENSORED* did we ever do to you" mindset and eventually a
constant state of war broke out as our members levelled higher.

And I have no doubt that the same scenario is true all over the place, just swap some names around.

However there's a plain "war" and then there's the **bleep**'s war which some factions seem to be all about.

i.e. if a merv kills me and I come back and kill him, it's done. If his
faction want to come and gang up on me then fine, and likewise when I
call in backup.

But when said merv kills me and calls me names, or calls his mates to
back him up and calls me a "noob", I take offense, and so do others. And that's where the problems start.

Actually, I was more or less talking about the maturity level these guys were presenting. Does zion call backup when none is needed..yes. So do a lot of merv factions. Machines, we normally don't have anyone to call.

Ans also, saying that mervs outnumbering is a rare thing...not true. Try being a machine. Mervs outnumber us around 8-1 while zion outnumbers us 15-1...

Ok I first off not everyone was hacker. If i can remember correctly 2 of them were hacker (though i started out as hacker and went to expert rifleman). I only went there was because 1 of them said that you guys we attacking him. Now first i thought about it, he was level 50 and i didnt see why he couldnt really do it himself but then he was making abilties. So I went to help. After a couple times of killing I decided to switch over to ER. I only attacked cause you guys were attacking, and you could have left it alone and left, or called in for back up. Plus its a pvp server, if you attack we attack.

LittleDevil, unless you haven't noticed, but about 90% of this server is either hacker or MKT. I hardly see any MA, Gunman, or anything else anymore that are not at a very low level.

I will say this (since you weren't actually there). Your faction mates attacked us first. I came in to protect my faction and I would do it again. Our faction is small so the fact that we had 3-4 members respond to a call just goes to show our respect for our members.

Also, I asked your faction mates why they kept reconstructing and they replied "we know we're outnumbered, we like the challenge" so please get your facts straight before you initiate a flame thread.

I REALLY don't appreciate the comments about my age and/or living arrangements. You are completely out of line and it makes you look bad. I tried to carry on a conversation with you only to find you had gone offline.

Every merv out there will say "it's a hostile server deal with it"

There's no attachments anymore for my faction. No alliances with any mervs or machinist out there cept for a slim margin I trust. We've played that game before. We've offered extended or temporary alliances ( i can recount at least 10-15 times in sakura i forced the zionists i was with to let a group of mervs sit in and take turns to get the drop only to have the gesture spit in our faces when twice our number in level 40 backup would show up to clear the archive).

You can say what you want about zionists in general, but you'd be talking out your *** .. Not all of us are alike. Not all of us run in hardline cleansing parties and call it fun. But if we're attacked we'll fight back. If we win and you can't take it and call in backup and lose some more.. We're gonna laugh at you just like what was done to every zionist in the weeks after this game went live. Complain all you want. makes you look like a scared lil kid. We may be a small faction compared to some but we take care of our own and we don't back down from a fight. Call us zergs, call us what you will. But I vaguely remember half of the merv and machine population crying carebear when zion made similar complaints. Can't take the heat? Move to a different server.

Oh man i was there and i was the one who said the crap about the being
a bad pvper, ONLY because i stood up for my friend who was making
abilities. Now if it is wrong to set someone striaght, i am guilty. If
it is wrong to stand up for a buddy, I am guilty. But if it is wrong to
stand up for a faction member, i am playing the wrong game. I honestly
was just in the heat of battle and was sick of someone (who will remain
un named) sending me tells about how cool he was.

BTW DP, great job of letting people know about the REAL Risen Triad,
not what some other people who have no clue about us stereotype us.

I only try (as of since i just became 50) to kill reds if: 1. they are
taunting me or a faction member. 2. they have said some things to me in
the past that were annoying or rude. 3. if they are pestering a zionite
that is a friend of mine. 4. If they are on a KOS list that i know of.

I really try my best , now, to not kill low lvl reds. But if you are
really annoying me in area chat or by tells i will hunt you down and
make sure you stop taunting me.

Personally I agree with the wasting of anyone who camps the construct archivist (regardless of org), cos thats just plain low. I can remember defending the Moriah E hardline from some wannabe gankers who'd only target the low level players - was actually quite fun, but I wish it wasn't necessary.

Good words, DaPharmer. Only thing I have against zionists is when I am being nice and help rez zionists, I get a lot of /t's saying "You shouldn't be here. ZION OWNS THIS AREA!". Other than that, I find a lot of these people funny, some respectful, others just kill with my half-leveled knife thower because I just get so annoyed from them.
