Phoenix guard

Most of PG went to other Machine factions and the ones who are still
around don't come on much with the exception of Acep and Lusid.

 SO when i get back none of my mates will be in faction chat and cause of the move they won't be on my buddy list anymore? Crap

  I was gonna go mero at the end of heuristic cause all the peons had gone mech so i couldn't kill them.  However now they went back to zion so there is no incentive.  I will see who remains of my mates in machine to decide if i change.  In all honesty i'll wanna make 50 first cause doing other missions gives crap xp and in this new world to many enemies to be happy as a lowbie.  If i go mero, dellusional outlook it will be, probably.

yeah I'm pretty much holding down PG at the moment, been recruiting lowbies every chance I get but we'll  see how that works out. But seeing how Phoenix Guard is Enigo's faction and he doesn't play anymore (ba$*CENSORED*) I think soon will be time to regroup and rename.

I'm just personally waiting for Vix ( can't walk out with him still around, he got me into this ganksta sh!t) to quit then I'm gonna start something new up most likely. But yeah I do enjoy playing with players for the old days, and I'm staying machine so that's all that really matter's to me.

  Lolz - He was never in PG, but when I moved to jokerz all jokerz appeared as PG until I relogged.  Haven't seen him in game, hope he still plays....

   This faction is defo still around. We have 1 active crew of 2 alts, 1 active alt, erace, and cap, FM and 2 other inactive players

Erace is ok.  He was a pratt sometimes, but mainly he fine.  I was only joking - most importantly being the only real member of a dead faction wouldn't be worth it - I don't blame him at all.  S'all good.  Plus you guys can powerlevel him to 50, I think he needs it

Change is coming. That is undeniable. We have seen the marks in the sky, dancing with colors not seen since Neo saved both the Machines and Zion. Niobe coming forth and warning of the Truce losing strength, and Agent Grey sighted amongst Redpills recruiting. Morphous is still missing, and unaccounted for, the Exiles rising up stronger than ever.

Change is Coming; but we have a Choice. As Redpills we can influence what change is going to happen… We have been woken by Zion, to be made into Zionites. Faithful warriors, continuing the battle that our forefathers, the Ones Who Struck the Sky, fought for all known Time.

But yet, we have a Choice. Zion is being lead by blind Zealots. They cannot see that times have changed. Our Forefather’s world is no more! In this ever-shadowed world of the Awakened, things stand at a different point than what they stood for back then. Zion thinks of the Machines only as enemies, ones that cannot be trusted, ones to be destroyed, as “Others.”

With such a zealous stance, they are blind to the Truth. The Machines are no longer our Servants of long ago, nor are they our Masters. Time has evolved to the point where Machines are Artificially Intelligent and are our Equals. Only Redpills with their eyes opened to this can cause a Change for Peace!

Coexistence is an Option! It is no longer necessary to only consider complete Annihilation of ourselves or them to be the only way.

The Machines have proven that the will follow any Truce or Treaty. As they are Machines, anything they agree to is binding. They cannot Lie directly, oh be fooled not! they can bend the truth, but when they put their Mark to a paper, it is Sealed!

The Exiles and Zion have been using the Truce to maneuver, not to maintain peace, but to prepare for War! That is why the Truce is crumbling, it is this Blindness of the leaders of Zion that will lead to the downfall of humanity!

I appeal to you Redpills. Join us! We can deal with the Machines to recreate a new Home. Not underground, but on the surface! Where we can work to Restoring the Sky. Coexistence is the way. Together we can build a new World by repairing the one that our forefathers damaged.

And then the Matrix shall be dissolved, Mankind will flourish in a way that is BEYOND conception of the Zion Leaders.... All this, not without the presence of the machines. Man coexisiting with Machines is the only way... anyone who thinks otherwise is blind to the facts.

So. It has finally happened. The thing that We have been working for all this time has occured. My hope was high when Agent Skinner first met us on that stormy day in Tarbor Park, and it has been proven justified.

A Treaty has been signed, one of great potential, greater than the Truce that stands between Zion and the Machines. A Treaty... that makes Zion even more of our enemy than before. Eden... has been Reborn.

The Machines have given us a location to start rebuilding Humanity, truly rebuilding above ground. It shall be far away from both Zion and Machine City it seems, a true Frontier. Several Hovercraft have already been dispatched to start making the beginning constructions, communication with them is extremly limited, but it was said to take over 30 days to get to the location.

The Machines have proven to be allies beyond intial estimates. In their systematic fashion the machines have stored knowledge long lost to Humanity, and even have kept phyiscal seeds of life. All the plants now dead on the surface, due to the Destroyed Sky, can be reborn! All the knowledge lost is being restored to us, encyclopedias upon encyclopedias of everything we have ever needed to know, ready to be Jacked in our minds.

I feel sorry for the poor buggers that actually had to read that stuff to learn it!

So, the Orcale refuses to see me. Why? Is what we're doing Wrong?

The Treaty... it was perfect. We scoured for hours upon hours over it trying to find loop holes that we somehow missed. We spent Days going every point, making sure all the rights were in place. The Machines put their mark to it... they cannot break their word, that is their Nature. All we have to do is uphold ours.

Human Rule will be absolute in Eden. All Machines fall under Human Jurisdiction, as per said in the Treaty. This will be our stronghold... our Home. City plans have already been in place, roads, buildings, walls... and turrets. Weapons mounted in the City, not to defend against Machines, but rather other Humans. The Irony was striking when I first saw pictures of the guns set up, pointing at the Angry sky.

The Machines need us. It seems in the age-old percieved way the Machines cannot Create like we Humans can. If they could, they would have obviously fixed the Sky on their own. Hum... how do you say it. If it was left to the Machines, they could not create a proper Beef Stew. You see, one must add milk to make a proper Beef Stew, thinking outside the normal parameters, thinking outside the box. I strongly suspect that due to their coded nature Machines cannot do as such on a grander scale.

That is why it is in their interest to make a partnership with Humanity, and that is why I know it will work. The Knowledge given to us shall make it possible to do things Unimagined by Zion. Things that can truly...

Thats not what I'm here for. Oh the Vision I see of what can come. There has been issued a need for a new Faction. The faction known as Rebirth of Eden has accomplished its goal. Now, as Humanity rises from the Ashes, as Eden has been reborn, we need a Faction to defend our new Home.

With Rebirth of Eden gone, a new Faction must be created. One that is to maintain our Presence in the Matrix. One that is to Guard all that we hold precious. Before, I myself can head to Eden, I must establish a new Order. Now, we are known as The Phoenix Guard.

Its raining.... the sun is obscured by those gray clouds.

I walk down the street to the building that the Agent told me to go. Walking, ha! it almost feels odd not running there as the typical RedPill does.

The Phoenix Guard is doing well. I didn't expect recruitment to go as well as it did. Maybe there is more hope than I had thought. Morale is excellent, there is no longer a need for my presence as a rallying point. Ha... getting a bit full of myself aren't I... "my presence" bah. With most of the old Rebirth of Eden faction members no longer in the Matrix, the Guard isn't quite a full fledged replacement to challenge Zion... yet. We are going stronger by the day, our Cause will not fall.

I'm at the building now, just another run down slum like the rest of this part of the city. I wonder why RedPills were restricted to the slums of the Matrix. It seems in the slums there would be more people looking for another world, more people that would be ready recruits. Whatever the Machines logic, it seemed to benefit Humanity.

I enter the building, greeted by the familiar drip-drip-drip of a leaky run down building. It fits my mood... I start up the stairs, looking for the sign that the Agent told me to look for. The Agent's voice echoes in my mind "It is a surprise, you humans like surprises on occasions such as these. Correct?" Ahhh... Another step towards our Dream. The Machines are taking real steps for cooperative work, designing programs that are specifically for learning Human behavior so they can interact with us properly... they are still a long ways though.

Hum... nothing on this floor. Up another flight of stairs.

I grin as I remember VictriX trying to teach Agent Pace how to dance the salsa. I bet he thought himself real clever with that pun. She's a bit too frigid for my tastes... but hey, I guess some guys just like it that way.

Ahh.. I see it now. Across the door there is fine painting of a Phoenix flying as it breaths fire into the air. Below it is a city in a green paradise. The sun is shining... a very optimistic painting. I open the door, inside it is a dark filled room with a spotlight shining on the table.

A bit Dramatic no? Maybe the Agents are learning a bit more about Humanity, I think with another grin.

I stride over to the table, on it is a small metal case that fits in the palm of my hand. I open it... inside there is a White Pill. I suddenly have the memory of the first time I was offered the choice by a Zion operative. I had chosen the Red Pill then without hesitation, this world... the Matrix. It was all fake.

The White Pill is designed to cause the taker to be unable to plug into the Matrix for a period. The first people that went to Eden to start to rebuild suffered something from Withdrawl.... Withdrawl from this fake reality... The Machines were expecting something of this to occur and designed a code that would not only reduce the feeling.. the need to return to the Matrix, but would actually prevent someone from plugging back in for a period.

Interesting little piece of code... quite a masterpiece... quite a dangerous piece of code to the Machines. Another act of Trust on their part, but without a doubt there are Agents around in case I try taking the Pill and running for it. If one was to mass produce this pill... and slip to members of Zion, it would prevent them from appearing into the Matrix for an extended time. Allowing Machine operatives to gain a solid foot hold and progress our Agenda. But then again, if it was fed to the Machines operatives or even to a large number of BluePills.... Ha.... quiet a dangerous piece of code.

I turn the metal case, dropping the pill into my hand.

Hum... no glass of water? Ah well, they are still learning. I swallow the pill and watch as the world crumbles before me. The last thing I hear is the rain... peaceful rain...

That was my exiting post for when I was taking off for a month to be in AZ to build a house. While I was there I had started to come up with another post to continue the storyline, and organize a PvP event, but a few days before I got back Hueristic merged with the other PVP servers (Input and Enumerator I believe) and there just wasn't the continuity with the community for another post so I stopped...

I feel like I am the only person who bumps this thread.
