Warehouse shadows

I guess everybody knows the warehouses with the corrugated iron roofs in the industrial neighborhoods.

During day, the shadows on these roofs are terribly bugged and uneven, and radically change even when turning the camera for a millimeter.

Is this a general problem? Is the reason for this bug well-known? Why can't it be fixed? Am I able to adjust it via useropts?

I dont think this is anything specific for these buildings. Alot of shadows move around as soon as you spin your own camera a little. A bug that has been with us for as long as I can remember, but I havent really cared so much about it.
