What amount would I have to bribe the dev tem to get a "cheese wedge" item in the game?
I don't know. We could all be up the code stream without a keyboard if it went evil on us.

Yea for real. Ookami is such a ganker lol. Well i think i deserved it but... thats besides the point. It also took me 3/4 of the way into the little fight to realize it was all a distraction from what the merv was doing. *kicks self* Next time I'll also have silver bullets MUAHAHAHA! ......a stake LMAO *inside joke*

I always wondered why Duelists have SO many red rolls in interlock. . .any explanation or tips to get less?
no one has been able to answer this, i hope you can

Maybe you have already answerd this question but Im too tired to browse through the 390 pages...lol
Anyway my question is:
Why, oh why, are there rarely any live events anymore? You have to bring us live events otherwise too many players will leave of boredom. I think you know this by now, but it would be nice to hear what you are saying about this.
An while im at it, what do YOU think would be the thing that prevent players from leaving? Whats your idea of it, so to say?
That has been asked and answered before, and the answer is more or less that we no longer of the services of a large, full-time Live Events Team. All the events you see now are run by members of the development team--with the help of the dedicated players in LESIG ("Live Events Special Interest Group"--during time that we manage to take out of working on game updates.
Rarebit,
Since there is no longer a LET and apparently no plans to add one in the future, are there any plans by the Devs to allow players to participate in the story line again? And by "participate" I mean something more than critical missions, the occasional movie character played by an overworked Dev, or static elements like Crypto's boxes.
Before you say "future release question", I'm not asking for specific details. I would just like to know if the Devs recoginize this as being needed for the game.
Why is it that we cant be a child (I know that it easier to leave the matrix when you’re younger) or so said Morpheus in The Matrix... And why is it than Sati is the only child in MxO.... Also why are there schools and playgrounds and a baseball court when there are no children in the game?

You don't even know what chapter 4 is about yet, or what it'll have in store for us.

What in the world is a chat variable??
I'm so out of the loop. :smileysad:

Ah, thats cool! I need to remember that! Thank you!
So does anybody know of a place where it lists these variables? Cuz thats cool!

i gotta question why did soe take control of thematrix online ? i mean ur all to busy with other games u have.cos the recursion server us messed up ??? why didnt u money hungry dogs leave it with warner ? they where doing a better job
Warner sold the game to SOE, along with the dev team including all the devs you've seen post here, like Walrus, Frog, Archon, Oar, and myself. SOE liked the project, thought it would be a good complement to their existing Station content, and felt that they could turn it into a profitable, continuing game.
Ouch!
And I thought indentured servitude wasn't legal :smileywink:
when r they gonna revamp the data mine tree now that its getting some interests again? altho after that bad issue with what happened the other day.... maybe adding some agents showing up so we cant stay too long from dataming as it would be more matrix-esque... there's a thread somewhere about this...

Heh, i just realized there is a CptDippy in my faction. But he had his name long before the Commandos.
And I wouldn't try RP'ing with him either. :smileyindifferent:

Well how hard could it be to get her rights? And Ghost's for that matter.
If what Anubis said was true, then it might be a little tough to get Niobe's. But what about Ghost? Was there a problem with him too?
Its just really disturbing seeing them that way. It makes me sad that I can never see Niobe the way she looked. :smileysad:

Sadly, Rarebit's posts here are becomeing few and far between. Which leads me to this. If anyone gets a chance to reply to him and dont have a question to ask, could u ask mine?
"Are the Succubi's dresses ever going to be fixed or are they supposed to look like that?"
Thank you!

Actually it was mostly non-secret stuff, like that Ghost journal entry, and finishing the 4.2 critical missions. Eh... I suppose the stuff I did on Friday was partly related to an ubersecret (and definitely evil) plan.
Muhahahaaa!

BAAAaad Evil Rarebit =P

I didn't think about that at the time. Guess I was too busy leveling, but looking back, I can see there was almost a two-month gap between chapters 1.2 and 1.3. After that, the schedule was followed fairly closely, until the LET was gone. Looking forward, I'm glad future events will be sticking to the official storyline. While I enjoyed the LET events (Nightfall, Choice & Consequence, etc.) very much, introducing all of those new characters, in addition to Paul's, was a bit overwhelming. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Rarebit wrote:
I seem to remember, perhaps not too accurately, that there was a hitch in rolling out the story at first, too, so we sort of got held up on chapter 1.2 for a very long time, which gave people the impression that we weren't going to be following through on our promise of having a central, evolving story.

There's usually a way to do most anything in a program given enough time, but since SOE's chat system doesn't have the same kind of group support for buddy lists that the old AIM system had, as far as I know this isn't something we can do very easily.
