The Real World Vs The Matrix
By Midnight
Some of the recent threads have inspired me to ask some questions.
Philosophy is a great way to see the world in different eyes even though the view maybe different I’d like to hear what others may have to say on this subject.
The matrix is a world of both real and the unreal. Computer tech vs. stripped down bare bones living (Zion) etc, so if there is the Real World which isn’t much, and the machine world which is from what I can tell is just one area in the real world, is there a God still?
Is the Matrix our only connection to a fully functional world or do we rely too much on that tech?. Couldn’t we survive without the machines. After all life was started with nothing more then our very beings and our own two hands. Who’s to say we couldn’t do that once again. True we have grown depended over the years to machines to do our work and day to day functions, but isn’t that just us being lazy? Human beings have always adapted to their surroundings and even though it would be very hard and trying it can be done.
I believe the world has forgotten how to function as a whole but believe the we NEED machines or other means to survive, that is just not true.
I’m not referring to destroying the Matrix or anything I’m just asking question based on thoughts I’ve had for years. This is also OOC not IC, this is just a forum of thoughts.
