This is just a reaction to an idea from the "Ask the Devs" thread, I believe by cloudwolf:

WHY NOT KEEP ONE OF THE CONCERT SITES UP IN RICHLAND AND ONE IN DOWNTOWN? THAT WAY WE HAVE EM IF WE NEED EM, ADDS A COOL NEW 'CONSTANT' PLACE TO VISIT/NEWBS TO SEE, HAS MORE PEOPLE IN TIGHTER SPACES AT TIMES WHEN THEY ARE USED (THE CURRENTLY BARREN CONCERT SITES ANYONE?) AND GENERALLY ADDS TO THE IMMERSION.

Ok, the architectonic equipment was pretty for a time period, and the Blue Sky promotion posters were a bit ludicrous, but amusing. And I also understand that the Americans saw colourful ads where I and the rest of Europa saw huge white blurry "Ad space for rent" posters.

However, in my opinion they were kept in the game longer than they should -- and they've got old. Actually, they actually only made sense at the Anniversary event, but then they were kept for weeks for the upcoming clip show. Honestly, I was relieved to read about the concert equipment being removed from the parks at last, days after the concert was over.

Apart from them being quite an intrusive thorn in my side visually (can I say "thorn in my eyes"?), they've also lost any story meaning a long time ago. Seeing the equipment stay forever, be it only in Tabor Park, would really not be good at all -- the parks are much prettier without it. Of course, parks with beautiful titbits in the middle or baseball fields (the ones in International and Downtown) suffer more from it than the two rather empty parks in Richland and the barren fields in Westview. However, it still completely destroys the atmosphere if I move around Rogers Way, with its threatening, dark feel, and then suddenly run into a funny blus sky poster; even if only the metal equipment was kept, it would still and does still feel terribly out of place.

If we want the noobs (incl. me) to get a feeling of previous events, I'd rather see added useroptions enabling all the different weather changes than keeping old metallic stuff in the parks -- that would really rock.
