There is a unexpected problem with the current build preventing the video playback from functioning properly. We hope to have patch out soon to address this issue.

I understand the delay, The game dosen't have native support for this kind of thing, so they are prolly doing some crazy MacGuyver codeing to get this to work.

Video texture maps are not fun... at all...
Even when I used to do it, it was hard enough with out having to worry about a game engine... I feel your pain Dev's

You know...  I predicted that this would happen last night.

I even have a witness!

You know how I did it?
Because I'm from the world of tomorrow ofcourse!

Be glad its a Flat screen, and not like a sky dome or something.

Oh the horrors!
Im confident they will get it. This is no easy task as i said earlier.

Props to SoE, and the Creators of the videos, they were pretty good. Just wish quality was higher SMILEY

http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm

download binktools [free]

You can watch it on your harddrive.
installfolder/resources/bink/Battle of the Bands 1 Audio.bik

I just thought I'd mention, should you not wish to wait for the fix, one could simply view the video in the normal Bink video player, in <Installation Folder>\resource\Bink\Battle of the Bands 1 Audio

I know the devs don't want us to be downloading for too long, but even viewing it at it's native size (320x240), it's bloody fuzzy! :smileytongue:

And, as an English person, I can now take comfort in knowing about your American Under-Armour-based "We must protect this house" war-crys. :smileyvery-happy:

Speaking of which, I'm going to assume that should there ever be a Chateau-related storyline, I expect Mervs to don the Under-Armour kit (which, according to the patch-notes, are decompile-able/code-able), at least for the beginning, due to this obscure quote.

EDIT: Ooh, curse you rfalias. Curse you.

Actually the "We must protect this house" is from American Football.  UnderArmour just put it in some ads.
