I know I've bored people with my dissapointment at losing multi-lock, yeah it was seriously flawed but its a great feature from the movies and a great idea in concept. Looking at how Zero-sum combat has been removed and that the biggest complaint of multi-lock was the time you were in the lock I could see an implementation in CR2.0 without those drawbacks
The DPS system could be used with two or more people in il with each single round being resolved though the net damage inflicted of two individual combats with no additional time over a normal 1 on 1 combat (indeed probably shorter as the person by themsleves will sustain a higher rate of damage). For the future several cool 1 against 2 animations could be included and the multifight ability could have a renewed purpose in reducing the damage taken by the lone person and or what they can roll against the others.
Imagine the neat move where Neo leaps up and rattles his foot between two opponents sending them in opposite directions..wouldnt it be cool if you pulled that off? Isn't that the kind of unique experience MxO offered and no other mmo could?
Just a thought before we all say goodbye to it for good!
