Ok, so we all know that Data Mining while AFK is an exploit (albeit, a pretty obvious one of you ask me), but I've not seen anyone come up with a solution to the exploit.

I think that "Mother Nodes" are a good idea... but tbh data mining has always been a pretty worthless tree... so here's my thought:

 - Allow more info/second to be collected from nodes in general (enough to make datamining worthwhile).
 - Every time a player taps a node, their Agent-O-Meter increases (even in non-restricted areas).
 - If a player taps one node for more than say, 5 minutes at a time, 3 lvl 255 Agents spawn (after all, they always seemed to appear in 3s in the movies).
 - Once the Agents spawn, they attack any player character within a certain radius, effectively clearing out the area. Either that, or make Agents retaliate if they are attacked by other players.

This would certainly stop AFK DataMining, and make it more exciting in the meantime.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but whenever I was in restricted areas, and an Agent spawned... it was a ruch running away from them. I hardly ever see Agents now. SMILEY

Anyone have any other ideas? (Constructive ideas, obviously. There's no point turning this into another "lets complain about what csr did what etc etc.... just ideas about the DataMining tree in general please)

Aren't data nodes also called the floating feast by exiles, its there food and the way they hide them selves from the system.
So wouldn't it make sense that any nearby exiles no matter what there level would try and stop you,and draw agents attention(maybe the agents could actualy kill the exiles since there cover has been absorbed by red-pills)?
