Just a thought here. Every time I see Persephone (LET or otherwise) she is wearing the same red dress. I imagine all main characters do not change their clothes either. Would it be too much work to shuffle through a handful of outfits for these characters from time to time? Maybe I am totally wrong on this but so far I've only seen the same outfits. Screenshots anyone? In case I am wrong. I'm no fashion nut I just think that Persephone would be the type of person (program) that would change clothes more frequently.
Thoughts anyone?

I do believe persephone has a red and a white dress.
But remember, the characters need to remain recognizable. If they keep change their outfit some people might get confused

admittedly, Persephone was the only one that had multiple outfits, so it is strange not to see her in diffrent dresses. The others, I dont pay attention to, they are always in the same think in the movies.

Actually Neo changes between matrix and matrix reloaded. So does smith.
Maybe it symbolizes how their paths change them. You ever notice how much Smiths glasses look like the body of a virus?

Merovingian wore an outfit with a black tie and black undershirt (Reloaded), and another outfit with the red tie and red undershirt we see in MxO (and Revolutions). Not that much different.

Neo had different clothes in the Trainstation, too. Trinity had a few outfits, but all pretty similar.
You'd think the devs would make the main characters stand out More. They can probably code anything they want.

Yeah, pity the stupid ones who couldn't deal with changes in clothes.......
Though, to be brutally honest, i don't care. It is the most minor of minor details with a perfectly good explanation of why not to - Consistencey and recognisability.

I once offered Seraph 80mill for his shirt.

The LET "clothing" is a function of a special disguise they wear. Thus, they are not actually "wearing" those items. Not only that, but were they to change clothes, doing so would cause their disguise to come off, exposing a very confused, very generic-looking redpill. (If you had that happen to you during halloween, it's the same principle). Much as I would love Seraph's Jacket or the Merv's Suit, we're not going to be able to loot them off the corpses of any LET.
Maybe if you ask really nicely, they'll create a few copies that are player-wearable and hand them out (like the Assassin's Mask). I wouldn't hold my breath though. You'd have to save the Matrix from certain destruction to get a special item like that.

I wasn't personally looking for loot. I do not want to wear Neo's outfit or whmoever's outfit. Just looking for some slat and pepper if you catch my drift. As far as recognition goes, the characters name appears above their head and in the chat window when they speak not to mention they would look exactly the same aside from their clothing. Persephone's Little Red Riding Hood dress has got to be getting close to the final stages of decomposition by now!

This thread calls for an episode of "Pimp my Matrix characters" :smileytongue:
