I just had this idea that would make archives much more worthwhile to visit and much more populated.
Put them on a separate server.
People from all three servers could go into an inter-server archive,
and meet new people, have pvp, have parties and so on. This would make
the archives more populated and more fun to visit.
The archive server would be closely tied with the other servers, almost
merged, so character info can transfer fast between them. It would not
be available in the server list, only way in would be through the
archive proxies. When going out or when you die, the system would
recognise from which server you came from, and transfer you safely
back. Maybe it could work like between the matrix and the real world -
the main server (syntax, recursion, vector) being the "real" world, and
the archive server being the "matrix", so your RSI data stays in the
main server, you just play in the archive.
