Organisations

What's the point in them? The only time it really matters is on PvP, missions and LE  - but in the last LE we all teamed up!!???!!!

Nobody even acts as if we are at war - we have Machines and Mervs dstanding around discussing philosophy - which is all well and good but I always thought that was what the forums were for...

and then there are people who don't know what org they are in - i would call them noobs but that would be an insult to noobs worldwide.

Missions

They are all the same!!!!!!!! I'm highly tolerant and I'm bored. There is little diversity - how about different kind of assasinations or at least changing the KILL, KILL, UPLOAD, KILL system. This is the single biggest reason why people quit before hitting 50 IT'S BORING!!! Though, utmost respect to those who have.....

Items

Whilst I was thinking why Runescape has more players than MxO I stumbled on the answer.... They have a really, really, really big selections of weapons, items, armours, abilities ect. ect. We don't. This is why people are standing around Hardlines, chatting, trying to get their money's worth whilst waiting for the game to improve.

There isn't a lot more to this game than that  - that's why I am leaving.

If the game gets better I will return.

I am very proud to have been apart of the MxO 'experience' - it has been a great experience over all.

I am really pleased to have met everyone I've met and I'd especially like to thank Denlor and Idolition for their helpful words of advice concerning MxO.

I'll still be reading and probably participating in these boards.

Gobdess and good luck,

That post wasn't created to state the obvious - it was meant as a compilation of my thoughts about the game and my reasons for my increasing disinterest in it.

Also, it's all very well critising Runescape and i admit it's not a patch on MxO but it is more popular and has more things to do.  (Also there is an option in which you can pay for Runescape, but that's another matter)

I also never suggested MxO be free - then it really would go to pot. I don't mind paying when I'm playing and i understand how much work the devs must be putting in and I respect them for it

Also, i agree MxO has masses of potential but until that potential is realised, personally, it's just a waste of money.

'Well, goodbye Captain Obvious, thanks for pointing out what most of us already know and 345845708340 players mentioned before.'

Is there really any need for this kind of attitude???

I'm determined this will be my last thread on the issue (soz if it's not):

MxO is my first MMORPG and I remember when I first got it I would talk about nothing else - I would rush home to find out what the updates (in the story) were but now the 'magic' (this is a personal sense of the word) has gone and other issues have taken priority in my life so I don't have as much time anymore.

I'm sorry this thread has turned into a 'this game sucks - I'm leaving' thread...but it has.

I always thought (most probably like you) that people stating that they are leaving were drawing attention to themselves. Now, however, I realise that they saw the potential of the game and offered their views on the way to the exit simply to try and help make it better for the ones sticking around.

Ofcourse I don't expect changes to happen instantly - it's foolish to think so (also, I think SOE are doing a great job) but changes do needto be made (as well you know)

I did originally intended to make this post "different" than the others slaying the game - I failed lol
