Quote Walrus Re: The Event times:
We actually do understand the complaint and are completely aware of
the issues that stem from having an international community.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accomodate the scale of live
character interaction that the old LET could.
I know I've said it before and it's been a long time coming, but
this is one of the reasons we continue working towards instituting the
LESIG. Once we get players involved in helping us with events, we'll
hopefully come to some accomodations on dealing with issues like this.
(No, that doesn't mean players will get to play movie characters.)
My question is this, and please note it is not meant as a flame, or anything offensive in any way.
How can LESIG help regarding event times? As Walrus said, it doesn't mean we can play movie characters, and that is pretty apparant, but what is needed, REALLY needed at a time like this, is a euro server (or a general non US server) for us which in turn will mean new Live Actors are needed. And so we return to the original problem? That, at the moment, seems impossible, so all EU and non US players seem to be waiting with baited breath for LESIG and what it will entail with regards to us. But I ask, won't event times still be geared towards US players? If that's the case, what can LESIG really do to alleviate our frustration?
Respond please soon Walrus, or anyone for that matter, who can shed some light on the situation...
