Yup i was thinking that, what happened to that part of the story?
#1040002616710/02/2005 15:13:40Re: Where was the secret Hard-Line
What probably happened is the barge left the area while carrying the
6th assassin clone, cause when you make clones who stops at 5?
And the info saying the assassin made 5 clones of himself implies an original is still running around...

pretty sure there wasnt a secret hardline.....
was just a part of the story, that wasnt meant to include us.

Yeah i'm betting that it was in the same boat (no pun intended) as the Ookami attack - something that did not actually take place in game, but that we are merely told took place in the event summary.

ohh like the guy from the cinematic is the unknown red-pill who killed the assassin on the barge(Tyndall says he prefers to stay unnamed The Kid maybe?).well that makes sense, but we wont know for sure untill walrus posts the event wrap up on DN1
Walrus!*looks at watch**taps foot*

Yeah I think the barge and secret hardline thing is just another possible avenue for introducing a new (possible LET) NPC in to the story. Just like Neurophyte's recap of one of the earlier events.

He didn't clone himself, he split himself into five.
#1040002620810/02/2005 15:35:19Re: Where was the secret Hard-Line
And thats why I shouldn't be watching football while on the pc, yeah he
split himself up, but if I was gonna be mass ganked by 100's of people
I surely wouldn't stop at 5, and I just learned about this unknown
redpill character from the 2.2 cinematic, but even then, I still would
have split myself up as far as possible, then slightly farther to
ensure some part of me survives...
#1040002621110/02/2005 15:37:13Re: Where was the secret Hard-Line
Perhaps he did survive... And those that got the mask will find their characters possessed, turned in to Assassin clones, then killed. =D

I believe Kalt chemical was responsible for creating the flies his RSI
was made of, so in essence he could go there and possibly clone a whole
freakin army of Assassin's, who can't talk...only point to stuff and
kill things...

I love your reasoning there mercurius420!

The barge did infact appear. I never found the heardline. I went around looking for it and asking people if they knew where it was but no luck. It was even more difficult for me as I am not with The Merovingian and I am sure the Merv' knew about the Exile Hardline System than I did.
ALso the unnamed kid you speak of. His name is Kid. He is Michael Popper from The Animatrix and the Kid that reloads Captain Mifune's APU.
