There are a few cool things that enemy NPCs say when they first see you... but even the cool ones get old once you've seen them over and over and over again. I can't help but be reminded of an old PC game by the name of Scorched Earth, which actually had a text file that could be edited to change all of the things the players/tanks would say upon firing a shot or dying...
All that said, what would everyone think about us players being able to submit our own quotes for the enemy NPCs to say?
Of course, the quotes would have to be sorted by enemy type, organization, etc. and checked for proper language and grammar prior to making it into the game.
I, for one, would love to walk into a room full of enemies and have no idea what they were going to say... and it would be even better knowing that the community supplied the quotes I was seeing, whether they were cool or just funny.
