I noticed after I was able to login in to the game, I was unable to log back into the boards.

I would login, get sent back to the boards paged, but still not logged in.

best thing is, I didn't even recieve an error.

I figured no worries, I will wait til the reset of the forums right?

well after the restart, I have been unable to register Noj.

I had it this morning just fine. Now after I register and the boards reset, I loose my handle?

error when trying to use Noj: "Forum handle already exists. Please choose a different handle"

After messing around, it accepted Noj*, but I am wondering if it would be possible for me to get Noj back?

I checked the member list, and Noj was nowhere to be found.

Walrus? Devs? Any thoughts?

Maybe these forum handles are tied to the rest of Sony's forums? That wouldn't make much sense...

Never got the opportunity to tie a forum name to my account, I just got this, and it isn't even my account name!

It seems that I was half able to grab mine to a point. I am sure I
should have Eroz and not eroz. I assume that forum names are case sensitive.

I did the same.

I tried Noj and noj, both taken.

I agree with one more restart and reset all id's...

i just don't understand, how people that were fine before are now messed up

and everyone that was messed up before is fine?

**** or maybe a DEV/Admin can rename/delete our active names, then rename us?

admins can fix ur names and i think my text is to big neways yes it says in their ToA that they have the right to change/delete your names i remeber reading it for no appearent reason

I thought it was all set up now so that all names go with handles in game....could be wrong though.

It was supposed to be.....

but I tried to get my Forum Handle for an hour before I tried something else.

I kept getting error.....

"Forum handle already exists. Please choose a different handle"

Sigs getting cut off used to happen with SWG forums aswell, I think it may be to do with firefox I'm not sure..

And I was early in the morning, didn't get my account erased. Guess I was just lucky twice?

Like I said.... I had everything fine and was ok this morning.

I didn't even have a problem setting up my acct to get in-game...

Everything was fine until the Forum Restart..

Tbone has the same issue

This morning I was able to register my account before the transition
page was active, so I was 'Gaspar', made a few posts, then later in the
day after the wipe, it wouldn't let me take the name.

I don't know if they plan to implement the "forum name is most used
char name" deal, but it would really be more convenient for somebody to
be able to contact me as the name they see is posting. MxoGaspar isn't
a character, and I don't intend to create MxoGaspar to compensate.

It would be nice to know that this is at least getting some attention.
I was trying to call them earlier about it but got a busy signal from
the support line.
